My Story
I am proud Dallasite, born, raised, and forever devoted to this vibrant city. As a gay Mexican American man and a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I know firsthand how powerful it feels to be seen, respected, and celebrated exactly as you are.
My path into officiating started in the most personal way possible. In 2017, I was ordained through the Universal Life Church so I could renew my parents' vows for their 25th wedding anniversary. Standing in front of my family, leading a ceremony that honored their love and our culture, I realized this was work I needed to keep doing. I come from intersecting communities and stay rooted in my Mexican heritage. I bring that perspective into every ceremony, every conversation, every signature, because I want people to walk away feeling seen and heard, never judged.
Over the years, I've learned to listen for what people actually need, not just what they think to ask for. Whether a couple wants a bilingual ceremony that honors both cultures, a family needs precise document translations, or a client needs a mobile notary at the end of a long day, I meet them where they are. My background as an an academic scholor, my expereince in adult learning, and my training in clinical counseling at SMU shape how I show up - prepared, present, and genuinely curious about your story. I share a home in Uptown Dallas with my wonderful husband, Clinton, and our four fur babies, Bobbie, Bowie, Balthazar, and Balinda, my heart and my home.
