1. Agreement to Terms

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the website www.francosignature.com and all services offered by Franco Signature Services ("we," "us," or "our"), including wedding officiant services, notary services, and certified English–Spanish translation services. By visiting our Website, submitting an inquiry, or engaging our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Website or services.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on our Website with a revised effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Our Services

​

Franco Signature Services provides the following professional services:

• Wedding Officiant Services  personalized, inclusive, secular, and bilingual (English–Spanish) wedding ceremonies, vow renewals, and commitment ceremonies for all couples, including LGBTQ+ couples

• Notary Public Services - legal notarization of documents as a licensed Texas Notary Public

• Certified Translation Services - certified English–Spanish document translation

 

All services are subject to availability, confirmation of booking, and payment of applicable fees. We reserve the right to decline any service request at our sole discretion.

Service Area

We are based in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metropolitan Area, Texas, and serve clients locally and beyond. Travel fees may apply for ceremonies or services outside our standard service area. Travel terms will be disclosed at the time of booking.

3. Bookings and Reservations

​

A booking is only confirmed once:

• A signed service agreement or booking confirmation has been exchanged

• A non-refundable retainer/deposit has been received (where applicable)

• We have confirmed availability for your requested date and service

 

Until all of the above conditions are met, your date is not reserved, and we may accept other bookings for the same date.

Booking Changes

​

Requests to change your service date or details must be submitted in writing to francosignature@gmail.com. Date changes are subject to availability and may require a rebooking fee. We cannot guarantee availability for your new requested date.

4. Fees and Payment

​

All service fees will be disclosed to you at the time of inquiry or in your service agreement. Fees vary based on the type of service, ceremony length, location, and any additional customizations.

 

Payment Terms

​

• A non-refundable retainer is required to secure your booking date

• The remaining balance is due 14 days before the ceremony date

• Accepted payment methods: Credit/Debit Card, PayPal, Zelle

• All prices are in U.S. dollars

 

Late Payments

Failure to submit the final payment by the agreed due date may result in cancellation of your booking. We reserve the right to withhold services until payment is received in full.

 

Additional Fees

​

The following may incur additional charges, which will be disclosed in advance:

• Travel beyond 25 from Dallas–Fort Worth

• Ceremonies requiring additional rehearsal time

• Rush requests for translation or notary services

• Revisions beyond the agreed number of ceremony drafts

 

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

 

Cancellation Schedule

All retainer/deposit payments are NON-REFUNDABLE.

 

Cancellation by Us

In the rare event that we must cancel due to emergency, illness, or circumstances beyond our control, we will make every effort to refer you to a qualified alternative officiant. In such cases, all fees paid (including the retainer) will be refunded in full. This represents our full liability to you.​

If you need to postpone your event, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your new date, subject to availability. A rescheduling fe may apply.

6. Client Responsibilities

​

To ensure a successful experience, clients agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information about the ceremony, parties involved, and any legal requirements

• Obtain the required marriage license from the appropriate county clerk's office before the ceremony (we do not obtain the marriage license on your behalf)

• Ensure all necessary permits are secured for outdoor or venue-specific ceremonies

• Notify us of any changes to ceremony details, including time, location, or guest count, in a timely manner

• Treat us and our staff with respect - we reserve the right to withdraw services in the event of abusive, threatening, or discriminatory behavior

• For notary services: present valid government-issued photo identification as required by Texas law

• For translation services: provide clear, complete source documents in a timely manner

7. Notary Public Services

​

Franco Signature Services provides notarization services as a licensed Texas Notary Public. The following terms apply specifically to notary services:

​

• Notarization does not constitute legal advice or verification of the accuracy of document contents

• We do not guarantee that a notarized document will be accepted by any particular agency, institution, or jurisdiction

• All signers must appear in person with valid, government-issued photo identification unless remote online notarization (RON) is arranged in accordance with Texas law

• We reserve the right to refuse notarization if we are not satisfied that proper identification has been provided or if we have reason to believe the signer does not understand or is not signing voluntarily

• Notary fees are set in compliance with Texas law under current Texas Government Code § 406.024]

8. Certified Translation Services

​

The following terms apply to our certified English–Spanish translation services:

• Translations are provided for informational and certification purposes. We are not a law firm and translation does not constitute legal advice

• Turnaround times are estimates and not guaranteed unless expressly agreed to in writing

• We are not responsible for rejection of translated documents by third-party agencies, institutions, or governments

• Client is responsible for providing legible, complete source documents. Illegible or incomplete documents may delay completion and incur additional fees

• Certified translations include a signed statement of accuracy. They do not include interpretation of the legal meaning of document contents

9. Intellectual Property

​

All content on www.francosignature.com, including text, logos, graphics, images, ceremony templates, and written materials, is the property of Franco Signature Services and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or use any of our content for commercial purposes without our express written consent.

Ceremony scripts, vow templates, and written materials we create for your specific event are provided for your personal, one-time use. You may not resell, publish, or distribute them without permission.

10. Photography, Video, and Media

​

We may photograph or record portions of the ceremony for our portfolio, social media, and marketing purposes. By engaging our services, you grant us permission to use anonymous or credited ceremony content for these purposes, unless you notify us in writing prior to your event that you do not consent.

We will always request your explicit permission before tagging you, publishing photos of guests, or sharing identifiable personal details online. You may revoke permission at any time by contacting us at francosignature@gmail.com.

11. Limitation of Liability

​

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Franco Signature Services shall not be liable for:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

• Loss of revenue, profits, goodwill, or data

• Failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, acts of God, illness, family emergency, or government restrictions

• Actions or omissions of third-party vendors, venues, or service providers

 

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services shall not exceed the total amount you have paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable Texas law.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our Website and services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Franco Signature Services makes no warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to:

• That the Website will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure

• That any information on the Website is accurate, complete, or current

• That our services will meet your specific expectations or requirements

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Franco Signature Services, its owner, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable legal fees, arising from:

• Your use of our Website or services

• Your breach of these Terms

• Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of a third party

• Any inaccurate or incomplete information you provided to us

14. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Informal Resolution

​

Before initiating any legal action, both parties agree to attempt to resolve any dispute in good faith through direct communication. Please contact us at francosignature@gmail.com to raise any concerns.

 

Formal Disputes

​

If informal resolution fails, any dispute shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of Dallas County, Texas. You waive any right to participate in a class action lawsuit or class-wide arbitration.

15. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with any signed service agreement and our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of our Website and services. They supersede all prior agreements, representations, and understandings. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
